Inside Sales Representative
WA - Bellingham
Opportunity Snapshot
You're a polished, consultative sales professional with a proven track record...
Now is the time to give your passion, ambition and talent maximum leverage and join a leading manufacturer that's poised for growth!
While you may or may not have heard of Lamons, we're one of the largest global suppliers of gaskets and bolts to the chemical and petrochemical industries; we hit a record-breaking $117 M in sales last year and are poised for additional growth in spite of a recessionary economy. We're seeking a seasoned Inside Sales Representative with proven industry experience to foster "win-win" partnerships that drive revenue and customer satisfaction. Your role will be part educator, part sales person as you aim to keep our existing customers happy, as well as gain confidence and credibility with new customers, continually staying on top of their needs and providing best-in-class service.
This is not a road warrior position, and you'll be working from our Bellingham offices, communicating with clients via phone, fax, EDI transactions and Skype; you'll enjoy the stability and camaraderie of working in an office with a close-knit team, along with all the tools and training you'll need to ensure your success.
If you have. . .

- Strong customer service background.
- Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written, including impeccable phone etiquette and ability to make presentations.
- Knowledge of production processes and flow of product.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Superior multi-tasking prowess with the ability to juggle multiple accounts.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and knowledge of Internet/email/database marketing technologies.
- Knowledge of refinery/petrochemical industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
. . .consider a role that offers:
- Excellent compensation -- you will enjoy a solid base compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and potential incentives, so as you grow into this role, you'll also grow your bank account!
- Great products, strong reputation -- the Lamons name has become synonymous with quality gaskets and bolts, along with high standards of customer satisfaction in a 24/7 service environment.
- Established accounts, high potential territory -- you'll inherit an existing customer base, but at the same time, there is plenty of untapped potential business for you to uncover.
- Autonomy and teamwork -- while teamwork and support are strong aspects of this role, we'll look to you to achieve your goals independently, offering support when you need it and "elbow room" when you don't.
- Career development -- as you master your accountabilities, you'll ideally position yourself to take advantage of numerous career opportunities within our growing organization.
- Great working environment -- we've fostered a great culture and treat our people with dignity and respect; the retention of our sales force is a great testament to that fact. We also encourage a positive work-life balance, so that you're not "burning the candle at both ends".
